If you are a returning student who started your course before 1 August 2025, refer to the information about the Student Support Package.
To apply for the Success Fund you must meet all of the following:
Be enrolled as an undergraduate student eligible for the UK (‘home’) tuition fee rate
You must have started your course any time after 1st August 2025
Have a UK student support number (English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish Students)
Show that you need financial support - we’ll assess this when you apply.
You must also belong to ONE of these key groups:
Have a household income of £25,000 or less, confirmed by Student Finance.
Care leavers
Care-experienced
Estranged from your family
Carer
Disabled, including mental health conditions
Lone parent with children under 18
Have refugee/humanitarian protection status
Be from one of the 20% most deprived postcode areas in England, according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation
Have parent/s in the military (service children)
