To apply for the Success Fund you must meet all of the following:


 

  • Be enrolled as an undergraduate student eligible for the UK (‘home’) tuition fee rate

  • You must have started your course any time after 1st August 2025

  • Have a UK student support number (English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish Students)

  • Show that you need financial support - we’ll assess this when you apply.


 

You must also belong to ONE of these key groups: 

  • Have a household income of £25,000 or less, confirmed by Student Finance.

  • Care leavers

  • Care-experienced

  • Estranged from your family

  • Carer

  • Disabled, including mental health conditions

  • Lone parent with children under 18

  • Have refugee/humanitarian protection status

  • Be from one of the 20% most deprived postcode areas in England, according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation

  • Have parent/s in the military (service children)
