Please check the UK government guidance on whether you need a visa to travel to the United Kingdom.

If you are a current student who requires a visa invitation letter from the University, please request one as soon as possible via the following form: Graduation Ceremony Visa Letter Requests · Student Hub
Please note you must be currently enrolled with us to use the above letter request form.
 
If your course has now ended, and you need a visa invitation letter, please email gradinfo@mmu.ac.uk and include:
•    The subject line: Graduation Ceremony Visa Invitation Letter
•    Your student ID number

Obtaining a visa might take several weeks. Please remember to request a visa letter from the University and complete all legal requirements before you travel.  

You can collect your certificate on the day of your graduation ceremony. We will not present your certificate on the stage, but can collect it when you attend registration at The Midland Hotel before the ceremony. Please bring along a form of ID when collecting your certificate. 

We’ll send uncollected certificates to your permanent home address. Please ensure your postal address is correct.
If you need to update your address, please contact studenthub@mmu.ac.uk before 30 June 2025.
Please state your full address including country and a PO Box number if you have an international address.
