You must enrol each year of your course. Enrolment opens in mid/late August. You will receive an email inviting you to enrol. These are staggered so you may get your email at a different time from other students on your course or within your cohort.
New students
You will receive an email asking you to complete your photo and ID upload here. You will need to upload:
a clear passport-style photo of yourself
a photo of your passport,
Your MMU ID will be on your confirmation letter, and your password would be your date of birth in the following format ddMmmyy (for example, 06Sep96).
Please set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by following this guidance
You will then receive an email inviting you to enrol, please follow the steps in the email

Returning students
Your MMU ID is the number on your student ID card. Your password will be the same as your previous year. If you need to reset your password, please contact the Enrolment Helpline on 0161 247 5959
You can then re-enrol, once you are eligible you will receive an email with details of how to enrol and a link to the enrolment portal.
If you are still awaiting your resit results, you will need to wait until your results have been published before you can enrol. Online enrolment will usually become available around 2–3 days after your results are published.
Once you have completed the online enrolment process an email confirming that your enrolment is complete will usually be sent within around 3 days.
After receiving this confirmation, you should usually be able to collect your student ID card from the following working day. Please see How can I get an ID card? for further information on how to do this.
Please note you will not be able to collect your ID card until you have completed your photo and ID upload and your online enrolment.
