Our Academic and Study Skills team are here to help you develop your study skills and offer a range of advice on academic writing, study tips and technology to support your learning.
They also offer specific support for maths and stats, and for students with a Specific Learning Difference (SpLD).

One-to-one appointments
You can book a 30-minute one-to-one appointment with an Academic and Study Skills Tutor to discuss developing your skills, or to focus in more detail on a particular assignment.
Appointments are available either in person or virtually, via Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference.
Your Academic and Study Skills Tutor can provide advice and strategies on a range of topics, for example, critical thinking, managing your time effectively, or incorporating evidence into paragraphs.
