It is no longer possible to transfer courses within the 25/26 academic year.
Please contact your personal tutor or programme lead of your current course to discuss transferring course first. The University has academic study skills support available to support you during your studies that may help you if you are experiencing difficulties with your current course.
You can find more information here: How can I improve my academic writing and get study support?
If you would like to discuss transferring in the next academic year (2026/2027), please contact the Programme Leader of your desired course to discuss whether there are spaces available and ensure you meet the entry requirements for the course. If you need the contact details for a Programme Leader, please contact the Student Hub.
Please contact MMU Student Billings team on 0161 247 2937 / studentbillings@mmu.ac.uk or the Student Loan Company (SLC) for general advice on financial liabilities. If you have already applied for student finance for the 26/27 academic year, you should contact the Student Loans Company directly to inform them of your course change.
Once you have received approval from the Programme Leader, you should submit your transfer request via the course transfer form.
